Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the largest bird sanctuaries of India. Here huge nos. of birds are living inside it and many other migratory birds also comes for few periods. The main wild animal attractions over here are Chital, Sambar, Boar, Nilgai, and Migratory Birds from Siberia and Central Asia area and spend their winter season here.

It is also Keoladeo Ghana National Park  and the name derives from an ancient Hindu temple and it is  devoted to Lord Shiva. It is popularly named as the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary and in 1760 an earthen dam was created to save the town and later it is called as the Bharatpur Lake.
