Coorg (Kodagu). The place also quoted as the Scotland of India for its marvelous hill station which located in the southern Karnataka. Kodagu is a small district in Karnataka with distinct culture, unique customs and traditions. The region is surrounded by coffee plantations, orange groves, cardamom, pepper plants and dense forests. Cauvery one of the major rivers of South India takes birth at Talakaveri, some 54 km from Coorg.

Morning you will be picked up from Bangalore and driven by surface to Coorg and upon arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or enjoy the beauty of Coorg.

Today morning after breakfast explore its Natural beauty. A region of great natural beauty, Coorg has endless plantations of coffee, orange, cardamom and pepper. The Fort, Rajah’ seat and tomb, Omkareswara temple, palace and stuart’s hill are places worth visiting. The quiet beauty and calm that emanates from the surrounding hills makes Coorg a popular retreat. 47 Kms from Coorg is Talakaveri the source of the Cauvery river, at the foot of Brahmagiri.
