Lying on the banks of the river Godavari, Nashik district is popularly known as the “Vegetable garden of Maharastra and western states” or “Grape city” or “Wine capital” of India. You can visit Nashik from Pune (200 km) and also from Mumbai (186 km). By locating at the western side of Deccan Peninsula and in the western ghat,Nasik is one of the holy cities of Hindus and is a pilgrim centre of the followers of Lord Rama who is believed to have spent part of his exile here, The name ‘Nashik’ is derived from the famous incident in Ramayana, where Lakshmana cut off the nose of Shupankha, sister of the demon King Ravana!

Godavari is flowing near it and this city is surrounded with nine hills- chitraghanta, Pandav, Durga, Ganesh, Dinger Ali Mhasarul, Pathanpura, Jogwanda, and Konkani. The world famous ‘Maha Kumbhmela’ is organized here in every 12 years and some important incidents of Ramayana occurred here in Panchvati & Sita Gupha.

Some other religious tourist spots are Trimbakeshwara Temple, Saptashringi Devi Temple, Kalaram Temple, Sundernarayan Temple, Tapovan in Dandakaranya and many more religious tourist spots are available to have a visit.

Morning you will be pick up from Pune and then drive by surface to Nashik and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Later after visit Ramkund and Muktidham Temple.
